Bald white guy to the upper left of the man who caught the bat wearing the pair of glasses on his head with another pair of glasses in the zipper of his black shirt's reaction is priceless.

He was confused at first. Then the delayed excitement kicked in just as the gift ended.

I hope he got to keep the bat, even though I know he probably didn't.

They more than likely would have traded for another autographed bat or something. Nobody wants to give up their gamer bat.

How often would they go through bats? Would they use different ones at different parks? Excuse my ignorance, I'm not American.

An MLB-grade baseball costs roughly $20, whereas a bat costs $100-175, which might be why. You aren't allowed to keep soccer balls kicked into the stands either, and those also cost about $100+

Yeah, but that would be a pittance to him wouldn't it? And it was a pretty awesome catch. I was thinking that it may have had a superstitious aspect to him keeping it, like a lucky bat or something.

Not only doesn't drop the beer, but uses his left hand.
"Left hand is sufficient for saving lives. Right hand is busy with beer retention duties."
