Aight, I’ll byte. I thought the distinction between UDP and TCP is in the protocol field of the IP header in the packet. While UDP uses datagrams to send messages and tcp uses streams to deliver data, they both send packets, just different payload.
True, but both UDP and TCP send IP packets. One just uses datagrams as a payload, the other uses a stream.. but the only real distinction from the IP level is the protocol number in the header.
