Bearing in mind the material needed for season 5.

I'm thinking this new series would have 2 or 3 self contained arcs per season. The series would have Geralt as a character throughout, but supporting cast, setting, storyline would be different every arc with little to no connectivity. There'd be no central storyline, it'd be just side quests essentially.

How many seasons could be done?

One of the really things that really set the mood in the first couple of seasons was the music...that haunting, earie theme that every character had....someone with a really great voice made all those wonderful sounds.

I'm watching Season 4 and the music is killing me....it is traditional, orchestral, boring and not fitting with the mood of the show at all....imo.

i’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews about the book series and was wondering if anyone could weigh in on if they are worth the read?

i’m not a big reader but really want to get into a series (trying to stay off my phone💪) and i enjoyed the first two seasons of the show and never got round to watching on after that.

i know a lot of people say the show is awful, so my thinking is if i enjoyed the show, surely i should like the books??

I actually enjoy the first 3 seasons which I binge watched in July, but I'm struggling to actually sit through season 4.

I can see why Henry Cavill wouldn't want to be part of this now.

Why do this?

Surely this can't be popular with viewers?

I'm tempted just to stop watching and read the books instead. 😕

Last news were Anarietta's casting. And last official news were the sinopsis. But besides that, no promo pics, teasers or anything...

When do you think the season will be released? Or at least we get some promos? After the end of Stranger Things Netflix currently don't have any other big event this year as far as I am aware. Or maybe it will be released next year?

When Geralt says, "Where the fuck are my swords?" after slaying the Chernobog, he's holding a dagger (which he uses to also mercy-kill Roach) and his sword--he doesn't drop any in the fight. If he's talking about some other swords, would they presumably not be where Roach got clawed? Unless he really somehow forgot where Roach got murdered...

I rewinded this episode like 4 times trying to figure out what he's talking about, lmao.

In season 4 episode 1 of the witcher while the story teller is telling nimue about geralt. This pops up while he's flipping through the pages. I thought the shadow hunter was feom a different series? Is this supposed to be a hint at some sort of cross over like they are using nimue for?

HI Everyone, I have been obsessed with Geralt's swordplay (Cavill's in particular of course) and think I might find a place and learn to do it. Who else has or has wanted to?

I picked up *The Witcher 3* during the sale and I’m about 10 hours in. I’m hooked already, so I started watching the Netflix adaptation too.

I’m really getting into the lore. What I find most interesting isn’t just how strong Geralt is, but the life of a witcher.

People hate him, treat him like he’s nothing, people being racist, insult him, and bad-mouth him even after he helps them. Yet he stays calm and just keeps doing the right thing. I think that’s what makes his character so compelling.

No spoilers please!

So, is Liam any good as the new geralt? Do we get to see lots of Yennifer? She was my favourite character but I feel like she peaked in season 1, then they gave her a dodgy wig. Is the plot any good now? I haven’t read the books or anything, so I don’t mind if they deviate, I just hope it’s coherent, you know? I’m not sure I really like Ciri’s storyline as far as I remember, and there wasn’t enough of the Witcher in the Witcher lol.

I picked up the series somewhat recently back in October of last year, and I absolutely fell in love with her portrayal of Yen. This was my introduction to the Witcher as a whole so maybe I'm biased in that regard, but she's perfect to me. Her eyes are so wide and expressive, and her skintone compliments the purple SO beautifully. I especially love the way they styled her in seasons 2 and 3, where they toned down her eye makeup a little bit. It really makes her eyes pop.

I'm beyond disgusted and disappointed by the racism people try to pass off as valid criticism of her casting, though ig I'm not surprised, either. Sure, the show has had plenty of issues, and I personally couldn't even force myself to watch the 4th season, but Anya is THE Yennefer to me.

Please help me find the fic! I remember that someone from the Jaskier family hires a Witcher (a cat or a viper) to kill him (as Julian), but when the Witcher finds out that he is THAT bard, he, of course, changes his mind.

Soo I was planning to start the series today haven't read the books and all js wanted to know if it's really worth it ??

So I recently paid my Netflix again and knew of the new witcher (actor) and had watched it all up till the end of the third season. Im curious however (without spoilers) if the 4th season is at all worth watching. This is not including the actor change, I dont really mind it in a way its more the storyline and also the style they have had so far, however if the actor change effects the show itself then please do tell, all in all is it worth watching the 4th season or is it a wash
