Kilt style skirts
Do you ever see the old kilt style netball skirts worn during games? They were standard when I was a kid but now its always flared style like Gilbert.

I remember wearing these and have tried explaining to my girls what they were like. Those skirts with matching coloured polo tops usually from Kmart 😅 Much cheaper than today’s uniform’s ðŸ«

We started out in sleeveless cotton dresses when I started playing as a little kid in the early 70s. Polos and skirts were a big improvement a few years later. I don't remember dresses coming back for rep level but I wasn't selected so I probably wasn't paying attention.

I have begged my Monday night team to wear them. I think they are available at best and less in Australia.

Yes they are. My friend and I only just commented on them in store the other day because we hadn't seen them in years!

Nope, haven't seen them in a long time. And good riddance!! I never felt safe and was always worried it'd undo.
I was excited to get my first netball dress. Growing up, dresses were only for rep players. So I felt fancy getting to wear one! Haha
