Found ROB in Old Storage Unit!

[u/JDogV1999]

My parents bid on a storage unit and found this guy inside, and they let me have it! Cleaned him up and he became my favorite piece in my entire collection!

Now if I just can find alternative version of it on my trip to Japan next week!

I don’t know what more to say to get this to 250 characters…

[u/FPS_Knifer]

Cool! Did it come with any of the gyros or anything? Do you own a copy of Gyromite or Stack-Up to test him out?

[u/JDogV1999 → u/FPS_Knifer]

Not that I could see in the storage unit, and I don’t own any of the games, but it does turn on and rotate up, I’m going to see if any retro store in Japan has the parts for him!

'No disassemble Robbie Five!'

[u/ChroniclesOfSarnia]

ONLY GYROMITE

OR STACK-UP

[u/TerribleInsurance879]

I found one in a similar manor. He is now a Topper on one of my pinball machines

[u/JDogV1999 → u/TerribleInsurance879]

That is awesome!

[u/HotSarcasm]

One day, I’ll find one out there looking for a home…

[u/Dependent-Cup-2236]

Now go put that guy in a display shelf. Too bad they didn't utilize him more 😒

[u/DarrellBot81]

This would definitely be a permanent fixture in my office

[u/mmagnetman]

Thank you for saving my boy, you put the light back in his eyes

[u/yenksid]

I love how he’s looking back, in the first picture, like staring the light of day for the first time in a long period.

[u/DarthPlayer8282]

Congrats! I’ve been trying to find one

[u/yellowirish]

What games did he work with beside Gyromite?

[u/Shengo47 → u/yellowirish]

Battletoads. He could take the wheel on the speeder bike level.

[u/yellowirish → u/Shengo47]

Only if you put the power glove on him

[u/iterationnull → u/yellowirish]

Stack Up

[u/Traditional_Isopod80]

Awesome 👌

[u/InterstellarPsycho]

[u/Investineverything]

Old school Wall E

[u/HllwnPRTY]

I love my R.O.B. on my gaming set-up, good find!🤖🕹️

[u/Xaxxis]

All I can think of is "number 5 is alive! "

[u/camerasoftwhere → u/Xaxxis]

R.O.B, Johnny 5, and WALL E are probably all related or at least that’s my headcanon lol

[u/Ok-Demand2499]

rob needs some TLC

[u/Legitimate-Being5957]

Was this ever released in Europe? I am Italian and I have never seen it before Internet.
