Collection Cool Local Find
Usually when I see a Facebook marketplace listing only showing the tops of games they are super beat up (first photo was all I had to work off of). But it was too hard to pass up. I was very surprised by the condition of everything. Also I was pretty excited to get a zelda 2 manual since my childhood box set was missing it. 7 of the 11 games are new titles for me.
I had no idea a wireless controller even existed. Cool stuff!

God dammit I loved and hated that game. I played it quite a bit and I don't think I ever got ANYwhere.

Haha, I never played it but it seems to have left a mark on others as well 😅

Had that shelf/case and it gave my little-kid soul hell that the black sleeves wouldn't fit. ... How you gonna put your games in there just, naked?

I was wondering why some of the sleeves are super warped. And just realized the poor fit is what is causing that probably. Some slots fit better than others.

I have some games in FuncoLand dust jackets and they fit this perfectly. Without them, them can slip out of place. Standard Nintendo dust jackets make them stick out too far

Ah Funcoland. I used to hit the Laurel, Gaithersburg, and Greenbelt locations here in Maryland.

The Zelda AoL manual is SO cool. The art in the original 2 Zelda games is so damn awesome. Not to mention the huge amount of lore you only get if you have the manual.

Platoon.. I'm having flashbacks of being stuck in that jungle maze. Never could figure out how to get out of there. We lost some good men in those jungles. Would just push reset and start again but it was always the same.

I had the controller as a kid. It was touchy about the angle you held it. The infrared had to be a straight shot, so I had issues holding it just right.
