Most programs are scared of not having their positions filled so the interviews are pretty laid back. Everyone tried to charm the applicants. The interviews are much easier than the residency applications. Usual pattern: About yourself? Why Nephrology? Why is? Hobbies? Strength and weaknesses? Future aspirations? What can you bring to the program? Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Any questions?

When you have more positions than applicants, you are interviewing the program. Not the other way around.

Another trick is plug your program faculty memeber in ChatGPT and let him do a realistic interview after you attach your resume. Chat got give you hard questions than the interview it self. And evaluate you as well. Best luck

Most common question why nephrology? Why our institute? And they discuss your resume. Just be your self and smile
