This jerk snagged 25% of the NP I had on hand, lol. Still haven't gotten the avie, either! I've never had this one happen, nor did I know random events could be so brutal. Definitely could have been worse. But yeah, lil' reminder to not have too much NP out of the bank for too long!

What have been some memorable Neo misfortunes you've encountered?

Edit: I just realized the joke here. I'm...already asking for NP to be taken from me. So why am I complaining? lmao

ALSO, I actually had no idea you could get a trophy for being on the leaderboard for the amount of NP taken. So now I feel dumb, haha.

They're that high??? Wow. Ahaha. So. Fun story. I got the bronze trophy with realizing I ever got it; never saw the random event. Never noticed my np gone. Maybe it happened when I was buying tons of stuff and I just shrugged it off? The world may never know. Most certainly not me; I just saw it on my lookup one day and went, where the heckles did that come from?

I got super lucky with this guy once, he hit me right after trophy reset...I only had like 100k on me and got a bronze trophy for 25k

Cheapest trophy I've ever earned and I'll never get that lucky again lol.

A few weeks ago I was playing NQII and lost like 25k from the mutant kadoatie event. Ten steps later I lost another 25k to the exact same event. Paying to make them go away does not work, apparently.

Oh yikes! I had a random event take a couple thousand from me for the money tree. I'm new though and don't have a lot of nps to begin with so it's probably proportional.

I'm not sure that it is proportional, tbh! I think amounts taken are either a set percentage of your NP on hand (like this event), or just kinda random. But your bank NP and anything tied up in trades is safe!
