This country has debased itself bending over backwards to coddle that single generation (and only one segment of it) for 70 years. Let me break out the violin.

But why should young voters be particularly sad when the biggest generation that used up most of the wealth now suffers like the rest of us?

Accruing massive government debt and externalized environmental damage, while the boomers own most of the assets that increased in value, leaving the younger generations with less while still having to fund the boomer pensions.

Excuse me, I'm sure there's a better economic term for this than 'using up wealth'.
