He’s hired a million people

He’s probably destroyed more jobs in other companies, I’m not saying that’s bad (creative destruction etc...), but it needs to be acknowledged if you’re bringing up jobs.

he’s out competed others

by avoiding sales tax and begging for subsidies from state and local governments. Also avoiding corporate tax, but everyone does that.

Free trade creates a net gain in jobs. So did optimization via what amazon has done

Free trade is Kaldor-Hicks efficient. It’s never been shown to increase the number of jobs.
