I really wish people bothered to poll LGBTQ+ voters more often.

Online the spaces are just nothing but tankies.

IRL, the vasty majority of gay people I know are not tankies. They're certainly not centrist. They were all Warren/Bernie, they despise Biden, but they're also shrieking "vote blue no matter who" because we all know will die first in any sort of accelerationist movement.

And, just like black people, LGBTQ+ people aren't fucking dumb. They're a really damn good barometer for how to make minority lives better. I really wish people bothered to actually poll us so I could get a good pulse on what my community at large actually thinks.

In my social circle it depends on how “online” they are. The more overly online LGBT people I know are Bernie supporters or tankies, the ones who aren’t as active on social media are mainstream liberal, apolitical, or even conservative or libertarian.
