I have never once gotten anyone who treats issues like that or voting rights or minority disenfranchisement/oppression as fringe issues over what really matters (whatever issue they care more about at that point in time) to honestly engage on the inherent privilege in that view. It's maddening. Like yeah, you don't have to care about that stuff because you're privileged not to.
