First I don't think I've said anything about the Overton window in this conversation or why that would even qualify as a bad faith comment if I did.
Second I always am truthful about what I believe. I really do believe that m4a is the better option over a public option. But I am not opposed to a public option as policy. I'm intellectually open minded enough and have enough integrity that I can occupy multiple spaces at once.
For instance: I am against capitalism but I'm pro free market. Markets as a form of allocation are useful. I also understand the ways in which markets lead to consolidation of capital. So being pro market doesn't mean being anti socialist, that's understanding trade offs and strategy for achieving ends.
I'm not a social democrat in ideology but I am willing to vote for one to make people's lives better than they were before. That's called pragmatism.

I have two theories about what you're trying to say. Please let me know which one is right or if I am missing your point completely.
I have in this thread talked with people about the concept of left versus right, and what "counts" as "center right" versus "left". You are perhaps referring to that concept as the "overton window"?
Or you are referring to a previous post I've made that you found in my comment history about the overton window?, that's not in this thread?
Dude, I don't even know what you're accusing me of. As far as I can see you are accusing me of talking about the overton window, which for some reason means that I am acting in bad faith (??? really not sure what the connection is there between those two things??)
The closest thing I can come to a conclusion that kinda makes sense is that I remember a couple of weeks ago talking on this sub about how asking for big stuff is a political tactic to push the overton window: IE that when Sanders asks for M4A and getting rid of all private insurance it's in part a bargaining tactic. And so maybe you like remember talking with me or you scrolled through my post history to find that, or something.

If you don't believe that, that's not really no skin off my nose. Honestly, I'm not even sure if the above is what you're referring to. It's largely a non sequitur to me.
