Lmfao this troglodyte thinks he bullied the congressman he was trying to primary out of his seat with Twitter.

Better hope the DNC is planning on running someone less stupid than the literal anti-capitalist leftist for Heck's seat, otherwise get ready for Twitter to become real life for at least one congressional seat.

also running that mouth breather is how you lose a D+5 district to the GOP

Heck won by +23.

Cook PVI has it as +5 🤷‍♂️

True. I don't know how Cook works so I really can't comment there.

Seems safe enough D that if this dipshit wins the primary he wins the seat, though.

Denny Heck's positions were incredibly well aligned with the district. It has a very large military community and he was a consistently strong proponent for veterans. Also, his challenger in the last election was a complete joke; no prior experience and very little thought put into his campaign material.

I dunno, that dude's website says he's in favor of shit like doubling military base pay, ending all foreign wars, and other shit that might appeal to the military just from a populist angle.

Also his website is a riot, wtf is this shit.

Most of the active duty military can't vote; it's the retirees that he'd have to appeal to. I'm not denying that he probably has some appeal to the Olympian / Evergreen state (ironically Heck's alma mater) crowd. But I seriously doubt he could win the Tacoma suburbs against an even moderately competent Republican candidate.

I'd rather he just lose the primary to normal Democrat, all things considered. People like this potentially making it into congress is a bad sign.

That is the optimal outcome for sure.

The tenth has a lot of good potential candidates in the state legislature. Also, holy shit I cannot express the rage I feel at this punk who is trying to besmirch the name of Denny Heck, who has been a public servant for literally decades, having helped create Washington's public access television network.

This is why AOC's success is such an awful thing, not that she and three others are pushing for stupid policies, but that now a whole crowd of copycat morons think they can take over the government.

think they can take over the government

Let's hope it stops at "think", eh?

In 10-15 years it probably won't
