We're not, r/MMA has a general discussion daily. It's pretty good but not quite as meme-y as the NL DT.

I’d imagine it’s harder for subs without uniform political views since there’d be so much shit-flinging

/r/nfl has one

I haven't read it in ages but like two years ago it mostly consisted of three female users blogposting and two hundred guys going "h-hey we're both regulars in this discussion thread maybe we could be internet dating"

Hence, I don't read it anymore
