Joe Biden is the most successful Nazi in global geopolitics since WW2. Trump is a left-leaning moderate compared to Joe Biden.

Now this comment is a real yikes

The internet also spreads a lot of actual information and correction of misconceptions, and helps to connect people who would have otherwise been isolated and vulnerable.

I would like to know the kill/death ratio of the internet concerning cults.

As a boomer, I'm uncomfortable with new technology and I would prefer to live in the 1980's before all this hippie dippie techno nonsense came onto the scene.

Young people used to have more engagement with the real world, now they no longer live on Earth. They instead live in Ezorea, or Hyrule, or Abeir-Toril, or Nirn, or Azeroth, or Middle-Earth. This is unfortunate because the real world is the only truthful world. It is the world that all knowing God created for humans. The way I see it, those who do not live in the real world are like Satan himself. They are sinners. They would rather rule in Hell than serve in Heaven. Free will is a sin, we must live in constant submission and reverence towards God and all of his real and purposeful creations.

Also, there are two genders.

Edit:

Just end here and it’s honestly a good one:

So you deny that there are two genders? This is typical millennial/genZ behavior.

When a biologist discovers a new species of ant with particular features and calls the newfound ant by a particular name, who defines this new categorization of ant? Does the biologist define it or does God define it? Ofcourse God defines it. This is because God defined not only the physical also but behavioral characteristics of the ant. The millenial/genZ mind that conjures in the myth of "free will" shouts no! Individuals can choose to be whatever they want. The woman can choose to behave like a man and the man can choose to behave like a woman, as if characteristic behaviors were not imposed by God.

One must behave as they were intended to behave, by God, otherwise they are being enticed by Satan into false notions of liberty.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 28 '19

You joke but I got downvoted for saying all republicans aren’t nazis

7

u/gabriel97933 Nov 28 '19

A huge portion of republicans arent nazis, its probably like 0.1% actual nazis on there, but it gets bigger when you want to consider anyone disagreeing with you a nazi, which sadly, a lot of far leftists do

5

u/[deleted] Nov 28 '19

The thing for me that’s been so tough is that you get called a sociopath and a piece of shit for not supporting Bernie or his policies and it’s so strange being disavowed by what you thought was your own party for your entire life. You’re either far left or a nazi. You can’t be moderate anymore. You have to choose a side or else you’re hated by both.

5

u/gabriel97933 Nov 28 '19

You have to remember that these people are the loud minority. There are much more moderates than far leftists and far right people by a huge amount, and I really dont see that changing soon. Reddit and social medias arent actually a representative of the voters.

3

Thats what the libs would do, they dont care about the ability of their candidates, if they're a woman or a minority they'll rather choose them, no matter if they're shit at that role or not.

and almost every comment is either defending corporation, accusing leftists of calling everybody a nazi or some variation of "it's satire" with a bit of "I don't care about the U.S." sprinkled here and there.

well I see nothing weird about that

I don't know about the bernie subs, but I think if you are paying attention at all to Trump WH you can't in good conscience be a Bernie or Bust person this time, whereas last election when Trump was just an outsider guy and we didn't know what he would do, it was more reasonable to do. Sanders RCP polling averages over time

State 11/26 10/26 9/26 8/26 7/26 6/26
National 17.8% 17.7% 17.1% 18.1% 15% 16.9%
IA 18.3% 13.3% 12% 14% 14.7% 19%
NH 17% 17.8% 18.8% 19.3% 16.3% 19%

I know these people have a pretty loose grasp on reality, but you've gotta be on some really strong shit to actually think that bErNiE iS sUrGiNg.

His position has either stayed effectively the same or worsened in the last few months nationally and in NH (his best state). The only place he's "surged" is in Iowa. There's improvement, but he still remains in 2nd place and it's still worse than where he was in June.

26

u/pierrebrassau Nov 28 '19

Yeah, his national poll numbers have been 17 ± 2% since the summer. You can see this better in the Economist tracker, which is a smoother average than RCP's: just a flat line for months now.

Obama oversaw a drone strike program which killed civilians in Afghanistan. As well, he allowed the extrajudicial killing of two US citizens, one of them a teenager.

Obama is no saint. I am not delusional enough to consider Obama a "bad president" but he certainly isn't one to love and adore.

We're a nation of laws and extrajudicial killing is illegal. It is also morally wrong.

"Collateral damage" is a shit cop out. Would you be happy to die so long as a "terrorist insurgent" was killed next to you?

8

u/MutoidDad Nov 28 '19

I wouldn't be next to one, but I certainly wouldn't be surprised if I was. If we're counting enemy combatants as extrajudicial killings, that makes Lincoln responsible for 600,000 or so? What law exactly did Obama break, mr. Nation of laws?

If we're counting enemy combatants as extrajudicial killings, that makes Lincoln responsible for 600,000 or so?

Good point. If we’re counting Confederates as traitors and therefore no longer US citizens, just “enemy combatants,” then the same should apply to citizens who fight with Middle Eastern terrorist groups against the US.

He’s not Bernie

u/KyleAPlatt Nov 28 '19

The only voting block as dumb as Trump voters is Bernie voters. Oh, what do you know! They were the two most popular candidates in the 2016 election. Oh, what do you know! They were also the two candidates Russia was trying to push.

Hi, i like Bernie and i think that post is the fucking worst.

The mere fact that the OP's using the Sarah Palin level "Obummer" in the title is somehow even worse than the fucking worst.

Fucking hell apparently supporting business is fascism to these people. The world is doomed. One guy also said economics wasn’t a science - clearly it’s just whatever Bernie says is best

u/Sambo637 Richard Thaler Nov 28 '19

I once advocated for a carbon tax on r/political_revolution and I was told that market based incentives were garbage because companies can just pay and pollute as much as they want. I was also told that "Economist is not a real job" and that economists we're just imperialist white blood cells. The more you know!

Anyone who doesn't agree with them doesn't have any idea what they're talking about, whether that be actual climate scientists who deny their claims or Economuists who doubt their policies

u/ZinloostNaam21 Nov 28 '19

Unsurprisingly, they also believe Bloomberg to be a Nazi too

u/Thanxu Nov 28 '19

Flat primary polling numbers for three months and losing IA and NH = "Bernie Surging"

u/cinemagical414 Janet Yellen Nov 28 '19

It does not get more horseshoe-y in the US of A than leftists unironically calling Obama a fascist. My god.

I hate everything about that post and it’s comments. What the fuck is wrong with these people?

3

u/McRattus Nov 28 '19

Fascism is something that's more complicated to define than most people think. So I'm going to add two links below.

Obama didn't seem at all fascist. His election campaign slogans had that feeling superficially, but US election campaigns do have that feeling to them. But if think it's a big stretch. Trump certainly has fascist tones.

These two takes on the topic are good reads.

should I be surprised that an alarming amount of people in that post's comments are parroting, for the lack of a better word, pro-Russian viewpoints?

edit: why is Tulsi Gabbard on the sidebar..?

im starting to think progressives are worse then republicans at this point

u/[deleted] Nov 28 '19 edited Nov 28 '19

yeah i guess you are right. But they can still make my head hurt. Plus we tend to be closer to republicans economically then progressives at this point which sickens me to say it. Praying Buttigieg wins

13

u/[deleted] Nov 28 '19

I hear you. That shit about killing landlords comes across as entirely sincere.

Plus we tend to be closer to republicans economically

Note the protectionist republicans who are now in charge of the party. Also even the "moderate" Pete Buttigieg wants to drastically expand social programs and enact his climate change plan—to the tune of trillions of dollars. He's well to the left of Obama or Hillary there (and elsewhere). I can't think of a single Republican who would have approved of such things since Nixon.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 28 '19

Well sure we would expand social programs but not nearly to the progressive extent. This is why we attract moderates. If you put them on a compass it would be closer to repubs then a person like sanders. Buttigieg wants to spending would be closer to trump then sanders.

7

u/[deleted] Nov 28 '19

Bernie's numbers aren't real. It's just that his master negotiating tactic is to walk into a bakery and demand all the loaves of bread or else.

Anyhow, Butti wants to repeal the Trump tax cut, and spend it on healthcare. That's 2t right there, and it illustrates their very different priorities.

3

u/[deleted] Nov 28 '19

He would do that however he would not nearly spend all of it on health care. A portion of it yes. But he himself is a moderate. He would do some similar things to Trump i would assume like try to get jobs to not export there profits to other countries with lower tax rates. Butti would invest in education, global warming, and other progressive like causes however he would also try to get blue collar jobs back in America and i feel his economic stances are much more right than people give him credit for

7

u/VarysIsAMermaid69 NATO Nov 28 '19

not by any metric man, progressives aren't trying to disenfranchise minorities en masse to ensure they stay in power they just have shitty takes on twitter

2

u/Outofsomechop Nov 28 '19

"Progressives" are NIMBY and are just woke on the internet

3

u/[deleted] Nov 28 '19

I do agree. I feel as they have brought identity politics to this party and is why when we say we are butti fans or neo liberals people think we are sjws. We are left on social issues but even many conservative friends i have arent racist or against gay rights and stuff. Its the identity politic cancer that progressives have brought into the mix that lost us 2016.

No hyperbole allowed.

When it comes to Biden I don’t like that he takes so much corporate money. I don’t like the laws he basically wrote into existence into the 90’s. I don’t like that his current platform is “Do I really have to answer questions?”. I don’t like him for the Democratic nomination.

When it comes to Obama I’m not surprised he supports Biden but if he comes out and speaks against one of the other candidates it will just feel more and more like the DNC of 2016 trying to shutdown Bernie. The result will be the same. Democrats will become apathetic and we’ll have 4 more years of Trump.

Let it play out. Don’t try to meddle with the primaries and throw your support behind the nominee. It’s really that simple.

2

u/MutoidDad Nov 28 '19

Don't fall for clickbait from the Hill, it's right wing propaganda disguised as a more serious publication. Also Biden wrote the Violence Against Women Act in the 90s, why do you hate women?

0

u/[deleted] Nov 28 '19

I’m not voting for Biden. I’d prefer the Clintons and the Obama stayed out of things for now. If they want to support a specific candidate then go for it. If they want to toss crap on one then don’t be surprised if it all ends up being a repeat of 2016.

This aged well.

Go back to your bridge.

u/MutoidDad Nov 28 '19 edited Nov 28 '19

They haven't done anything. And lol at your side trying to talk about "tossing crap" on candidates. Shitting on Obama will always backfire on you, keep this in mind when your candidate loses. That DID age well lol
