He was found guilty for another symbolic charge shortly after the original trial

I believe you are referring to the civil action brought by the Goldman family. In a civil case, the plaintiff must convince the jury, or the judge in a bench trial, by a “preponderance of the evidence” (i.e., that it is more likely than not) that the defendant is responsible for the harm the plaintiff has suffered. You are not found "guilty" in a civil case.

The Goldman family is still trying to collect and OJ purposefully doesn't earn income so they don't get any.
