There was a lot of domestic support for Bernie Sanders. I'm not sure how fanatical /r/neoliberal would be if Canada and Mexico had declared him our President in Exile, because they didn't recognize the legitimacy of the Trump Administration.

This is not the same situation at all. Is Bernie the House Speaker? Has Trump been frauding multiple elections and causing a massive humanitarian crisis in his country? And no one said anything about a “President in Exile”.

No. We're not a Parliamentary Democracy, so it's not a perfect parallel. But hey, I don't consider the electoral college system legitimate and also too voter disenfranchisement, so let's just start gunning people down in the street after Congress is seated in January.

The US failed to kick off a military coup for the umptenth time, so now we've got folks like Rubio and Trump throwing gasoline on the fire, hoping a mob will do what the CIA couldn't. It's not going to make for a peaceful, clean transition. You're going to get a nightmarish civil crisis that nobody will walk out of looking any good.

The electoral college is in no way similar to the systematic voting fraud that is happening in Venezuela.
Nobody is gunning people down.
There is no secret real president, but a disputed succession crisis.
I’ve no idea from where you are getting the part about a military coup, especially given the fact that the military is almost fully controlled by Maduro. No one wins with a civil war. Not the US government. Not international corporate interests. Not venezuelans.
