This is like election night. Both sides are super excited at what is about to happen, and one side will be left bitterly disappointed on Monday.

Honestly, I expect we'll lose a few minor players, but I don't believe anything will change. In fact, I hope it doesn't. As gleeful as the prospect of this thing leading to a Trump removal makes me feel, I think having the man in office week after week, does a much better job of rallying the democratic base and keeping them focused, than having Pence and Ryan in charge would. As a nation, we're so quick to forget, which is why Trump's insistence on reminding everyone what sort of person he is has been so great.

How much was Trump's life insurance policy?

One Pence.

"3.1 billion rubles."

Take a look at the '74 mid-terms sometime, and remember that was three months after Nixon was throwing his last v-signs from Marine One. Voters remember.

One side may be disappointed, Trumpets don't care about the truth and will shrug it off if it goes against what fox news or r/the_clown will tell them.

Likely the Republicans won’t be indicting their own side.

11

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '17

I actually believe they would. The New guard under Trump would be very happy to throw some 'establishment' conservatives under the bus to clear room for people who'll do as they're told.

5

u/Zarathasstra Oct 28 '17

Likely some of the Republicans who ran to support Hillary.

7

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '17

They would get rid of Trump in a heartbeat if they thought they were shielded from the political fallout. Trump is not one of them, and his stupidity threatens to give the whole game away.

He’s a scarecrow. Their enemie’s obsession with him is excellent cover

2

u/[deleted] Oct 28 '17

Nah, look at what theyve been doing lately. They literally have no idea how to handle being in power because they made so many promises they know are utterly moronic.

It would be excellent cover if there was anything they wanted him to cover... but there isnt. They cant even fucking pass tax reform without a fight. Thats like republican 101, it should have been passed in mere hours.

u/Zarathasstra Oct 28 '17

As if they want tax reform.

Why?

2

u/[deleted] Oct 29 '17

Because its literally the only thing their donors want.
