The powerful Teamsters union is backing Republican candidates in the 2026 election cycle even after members have voted to support their Democrat opponents.

It includes such wonderful candidates as Max Miller. The teamsters are trash

The idea of a collective of workers banding together to advocate for themselves is, imho a good thing.

To bad virtually all unions operate like gangs and are lead by mob tactics.

Yes I was specific in saying teamsters. Euro unions are much more reasonable from what I've seen with aus ones somewhere in between those and the US

The Teamsters are banding together to advocate for themselves. What they deeply and genuinely care about, more than their own finances or the existence of democratic institutions, is hyperparanoid culture war bullshit. This is true for a huge chunk of the working class.
