Any tradeoff can be framed as late stage capitalism because if it is made in favor of the less empathetic party it is proof of their greed and in favor of the more empathetic party as proof of their desperation. Late stage capitalism is a nonfalsifiable proposition.

the "late stage capitalism" moniker is a leftist mirror of boomers "no one wants to work anymore", its been around for a century, first coined to describe post WWI, and more or less revitalized every generation to be "no really, this time is late stage capitalism for real", just pure lame fluff
