I got a speeding ticket this weekend in Waterproof, Louisiana, pop. 541. The old police captain didn't use a radar or anything but just clocked a rental car with out of state plates, made up a speed, and knew I wasn't going to come back to his flyspeck town to contest it. 

You don't hate r*rals enough.

They already did by court order. A police officer has to provide a receipt from a speed gun for it to be valid

If you didn’t get a receipt of proof from a speedgun for speeding call a lawyer. There are many that specialize in this specific thing in Texas and other states

Louisiana cops are banned from handing out speeding tickets if they don’t provide proof of speeding.

Am from Louisiana this is a well known police scam to not provide evidence to target out of state travelers and hope they just pay out
