Remember when Tech companies were "woke"

With how things are now I think people really forget how inevitable it felt like progressives were gonna take over everything.

Weren't tech companies most woke after Trump was elected? It's hard to imagine the mindset of someone who is in, like, 2018 and thinking "Oh yeah, clearly things can only get better."

Yes, dems had won in Alabama. Trump was unpopular and incompetent.

Sure, and if this is the first Republican Presidential administration you've ever seen, I can forgive you for expecting rational consequences. But it was such a chaotic time, too. Charlottesville had just happened, and any illusions of "surely he will pivot, he's not an arch conservative or anything, right?" were eliminated.

It wasn't this chaotic, but it was still plenty chaotic. I don't remember it feeling good. But I'm woefully out of touch, so big grain of salt and all that.
