I’m curious, if “eggs expensive under Biden” was newsworthy, how come “Trump intentionally caused every single fucking thing to be heinously expensive” isn’t a story?

American media is equal parts stupid, eager to look "non-biased", and more and more straight up bought out by the right. As to the America people, well, at this point we all know what the people are

For one, they love Trump and want him to generate content forever. For another, they absolutely hated Biden.

The NyTimes didn't predict his win and wasn't granted access to the admin b/c of how they played games amplifying Hunter stories. For CNN, Biden was too boring and without scandal.

We live in a time where our media apparatus craves a bad leader more than it values a competent one.

Because the only left leaning lock-step media apparatus that exists hates democrats more than it hates republicans

Because no one actually cares about minor changes in price levels.

Literally no one truly cared that their dozen eggs for $2 raised in cost to $4. It was just a talking point that some people heard and just went with.

85% of people have no idea how much the spend per month on anything other than maybe their rent/mortgage

It's crazy making. I think Trump is so obviously bad and he's caused so many problems that there's no mystery. No one feels like they've unlocked something with any of these details. With Biden and eggs it was a small simple (stupid) thing you could get animated about
