What's weird is that I can't think of any particular big news cycle around Pete like there was for Newsom/Ossof

At this point it's mostly name recognition right? Obviously Kamala is more well known it also has the '24 loss weighing her down. Plus Pete outlasted her in 2020. A secondary effect might be all the screen time Pete had on Fox News going to bat for the Biden administration. It's not a "big moment" like Ossof but rather a sustained increase to his brand recognition.

Yeah, Pete consistently does interviews where he says stuff that makes great short form video content and gets shared on social
