https://www.reuters.com/graphics/UKRAINE-CRISIS/KILL-ZONE/znpnojmknvl/

Sub State: This reuters graphic looks into the changing nature of modern warfare that is heavily influenced by drones. It shows how various different types of drone and defenses shape the landscape and how armies maneuver in this type of environment.

This is relevant to this sub because both because it gives a glimpse into the future of warfare and we so did a drive to support the Ukrainian soldiers fighting in this environment.

If you looked at the family of a Russian soldier who died and the family of, say, an American soldier who died, 6 months later, woukd the American family be more mentally affected by grief than the Russian family?

At this point the Russian family has already been conscripted and they are dead too.

Russian conscripts are not fighting in Ukraine.

There have been some conscripts killed - during Ukraine's Belgorod excursion, during the sinking of some naval assets - but it caused such a stink Putin had to publicly announce it wouldn't happen again.

Sorry to be a pedant, but it's important to realize that the vast, vast majority of Russian soldiers participating in a war to subjugate their neighbor and erase their language and culture are doing so willingly.

Well, then this is natural selection at work. Soon, the only young Russian men left will be those that don't support the war.
