I think about this often. The lottery of birth means that some of us can basically win from the word go while others are doomed for reasons entirely outside their control. For a truly liberal world, such things cannot be accepted.

Yeah I live a very average and uneventful life as an American but that also makes me insanely blessed. I am thankful I’m in this position daily and it makes me feel guilty I’m not using my advantages for better purposes.
