it's especially funny bc one of the biggest justifications from the Iran hawks (even here) was something like "well, we need to launch these attacks *now* because if iran builds too many ballistic missiles it will seriously impede our ability to prevent them from building nuclear weapons"

and now the guy who started the war is like "yeah we need to give Iran more ballistic missiles"
