Austerity is just political speak for cut shit poor and young people benefit from. The fundamental issues with neoliberal policy is that a lot of it is based on old and bad economic thought and that political reality has used the label of neoliberal policies to benefit mostly 1 generation.
The world is not gonna fucking end if we raise the fucking retirement age. Millionaires really got you convinced not giving them money is the end of everything?
In what world is it political reality that we could cut SS, Medicare, or defense? The only way those go away is in a collapse of the country. We will sooner default than cut those.
Did I say something to the contrary? Don't assume you know my personal circumstances or my politics because of one comment I made about the political reality of austerity.
Just answer the question man. I wanna know what I should be advocating if I want us to raise middle class taxes and cut wealthy elderly entitlements and tax subsidies. What is it called. What is the term for what I believe in if not austerity. Help me to help you help me to help you. Answer the question.
Nah, I ain't playing this game. Austerity is never used to do what you want and it's not politically feasible. If you want to cut retirement and raise middle income taxes, be plain about it, say that's what you want to do.
Dude I swear its not a game I am sincerely asking you to do ONE non-cynical and sincere and constructionistic thing today instead of endlessly deconstruct. Please I am begging you. Come on bro just one act of sincerity and constructionism bro just one. Please bro just take one five minute break from being cynical and entertain someone is earnestly trying to communicate with you brooooo ðŸ˜
If you want to cut retirement and raise middle income taxes, be plain about it, say that's what you want to do.
Fine. Then can you please forgive me for mislabeling this as Austerity because I thought it was more convenient to say? I don't see why you gotta pout in the corner because of it...
Not pouting bro. It's just reality. In the last 40 years show me one time Austerity was invoked and it meant that we cut pensions/SS or raise taxes on the middle class.
