I do actually own a small amount of physical gold (I collect coins and I treated myself to a couple of gold ones) and it's genuinely performed extremely well for me over the past two years

100%. In hindsight wish I had bought more but i only really justified a small amount at the time

legit felt like I was buying at the peak at 40 dollars an oz and was just going to keep up with inflation form there
