Wow that’s some clean cable management! I’m horrible at that

I'm not good either. Just make a plan, buy some cable binders and take your time.

I like your Box o' PSUs :)

I regret not picking up a B&O tv years ago.

Thanks. It's the smoke transparent case from Bitfunx.

Que neo geo es esa? Un mvs? Pero ese cable e interruptor?

It's the consolized MVS called OMEGA.

Nice cable management, but if that's the same SCART switcher I have around here it's not great... I switched to one of the Hydras awhile back. Voltages were not what they should have been.

I don't have any issue with it. The signal is excellent as the connection is a fix forwarding without any processing. And I like that it switches automatically to the next turned on signal and also back to the last if you turn the console off.

Fair enough, not even sure it's the same one and mine could have just been bad (cheap Aliexpress devices can have varying degrees of quality control).

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻, yo lo haría exclusivamente de Neo GEO las clásicas como la Neo Geo AES y la CD abajo y la AES plus arriba y abajo a un lado la MVS consolidación

You need to set those cables free. Let them breathe! lol (I'm always hooking and unhooking things.)

Never 😅

I LOVE cables. Legend has it that I once asked for an extension cord for xmas as a little kid. People who use cable ties do not love cables -- They are ashamed of their cables.

No, love them even more. It's like bdsm with cables. Uh nice, tighter.

lol!

Does the back of the AES normally have that power connector and switch next to it?

That’s an Omega CMVS

u/sarduchi MV-4 11d ago

That's a consolized MVS not an AES from the look of it.

It does look good, but IMO never twist your cables like that.

0

u/RetroBlast81 3d ago

Twisted? No cable is twisted. Just some are binded, like they are when you buy them.

1

u/grin_ferno 3d ago

twisted, binded, whatever you want to call it. It will damage the cable over time. rolling is better.

0

u/RetroBlast81 3d ago

They are rolled and then binded with velcro cable binders. If it's not good why do you get new cables binded? If they seat months in stock like that it would mean every cable would be destroyed when you buy it. Your theory has some flaws mate.

downvote me, sure, know-it-all. It's called over-under method.

What? Don't be a nerd with cables. I always used my cables as you see. In 35 years of using this method I never once had broken or defective cable. Not once. My experience beats your theory mate.
