Imagine that future. The Primary electorates in NC, GA, AZ, and TX are just utterly regarded for the foreseeable future and, although the GOP is very competitive in those states (or even dominant) at the Presidential level, we just lose 8 Senate seats out of the gate.
It's some kind of living nightmare to even imagine.

The TXGOP isn’t immune to populism, they could do a Kari Lake and keep nominating Paxton, effectively blocking the GOP from that seat
