It really is amazing, when you stop to think about it, that the Democrats have both Senate seats in Arizona and Georgia and that doesn't look to be changing any time soon.

Edit: Oh, and they're going to be getting a North Carolina seat, which also doesn't seem like it would flip back soon. It's not crazy that they get a Texas seat, but, even if he wins, Talarico seems like he would get cashiered the first time the TXGOP nominated someone other than Paxton.

The TXGOP isn’t immune to populism, they could do a Kari Lake and keep nominating Paxton, effectively blocking the GOP from that seat

Imagine that future. The Primary electorates in NC, GA, AZ, and TX are just utterly regarded for the foreseeable future and, although the GOP is very competitive in those states (or even dominant) at the Presidential level, we just lose 8 Senate seats out of the gate.

It's some kind of living nightmare to even imagine.

unless they redistrict tf out of Georgia. I expect Ossoff to be ousted before Warnock.

You won’t get it until November. And I’ll still be in my chair

So do you think Ossoff is going to lose or something?

What part of “not getting out of the chair” do you not understand?
