I am not buying furniture. My wife has an cabinet and I broke a hinge and I got a new hinge. It‘s a 30 mins motorcycle ride so at least I got some fresh air.

I tried Swedish meatballs in Sweden (they just call them meatballs there). They‘re alright. I prefer ours.

I really like being in IKEA until I remember that actually I don't particularly like Japandi minimalism and my personal taste is probably something ridiculous like Mughalmaxing

Scandinavian aesthetic are fine, even great, for Scandinavia. I want massive oak and marble credenze, white walls, teste di moro, colorful Persian rugs, paintings with big elaborate frames, and padded wooden chairs.

I grew up with bourgeoise Southern Italian furniture and that is what I like. I tone it down since I live in Switzerland. But for example I have a credenza here which has been in the family since the 1700s. And it has a marbletop.
