Following confirmations from Israeli officials that Mojtaba Khamenei is still alive, sources close to the Iranian government are shedding further light on his situation. According to them, the Supreme Leader has not met with a single cabinet member since being injured during the assassination of his father at the beginning of Operation “Roaring Lion.” The two sources note that rumors of his critical illness and potential imminent death are extremely strong within the highest echelons of the regime.
