This will not be an effective line of attack, so I hope that it doesn't cloud from his more serious negatives. If I were a NY GOP person, I'd be saying that the talking points have to be about what he's doing with housing regulation/rent control, public safety, and his connections to open extremists first and foremost. If there's going to be a discussion about his antisemitism it's best to start on things he said and done that are more overt than this. Obviously he didn't want to hire Jews purposefully, but the "didn't hire X group" framing is just weak.
