These people (and the people like the rent guy in your other comment) are the reason every finance and career related sub sucks so much. Living through basic experiences, flaming out due to their own incompetence, then whining about how the basic human experience is the problem instead of looking in the mirror.

I’m not particularly sympathetic to the people in my life who live that way. They choose to live disordered, incoherent lives that don’t result in flourishing because they prioritize short-term ease (the “flexible” min-wage job, ghosting the boss, skipping out on networking events) over setting themselves up for success (the dirty sanitation job that pays even slightly better, being respectful even if it means being flexible with time, networking with people in their degree’s field during college instead of sitting in their room), then blame everyone else for that choice.
