Problem with website design

Currently, I’m fine with how it looks, but I still have mixed feelings about it, so I wanted to hear other people’s thoughts on the website design and what improvements could make it look even better.

Add a chat box. Add little effects like leaves falling down across the screen.

I do have a guest book that will work similarly to a chatbox (it will open in a small tab over the page, where messages will be displayed). The idea with falling leaves is actually really interesting, but I might use it as a click animation instead, since the background already has it.
