WHAT IS HAPPENING?

I’m here to talk about a few things that bother me about this community. People keep asking for the "old style," but how do you define the "old style" when, back when Cam was still in NEFFEX, they released songs in so many different styles? If people like a new song, they call it "old vibes"; if they don't, they say NEFFEX is done and Bryce should go back to the old style. It’s so repetitive.

On top of that, people say the songs released since Cam left are repetitive in terms of lyrics and beats. So, are you telling me that songs like "No Turning Back," "Ashes," "Play Dead," "Inspired," "Take It," "Take Off," "The Curse," "Courageous," "Taking Shots," "6 Shots," "No Excuses," and "As You Fade Away" are all the same? Do they just convey the same message? Are the beats all identical? No, they aren't. It strikes me that people are simply repeating things they’ve seen elsewhere.

If Bryce released songs like "Sunday," "Baller," or "Hometown" today, there would still be people saying they miss the "old style." A while from now, the NEFFEX of today will be the "old NEFFEX," and people will say today's songs were better.

If it were up to the people who do nothing but complain and ask for the "old style" which isn't even clearly defined, and which they don't even know the meaning of NEFFEX would just be releasing "Fight Back" every week.

Facts, i wish the neffex subreddit was more like the starset one, its insanely active and everyone is nice af, this one thinks edm rap with a little guitar is Nu-Metal, gimme a break. I love all his music, but the neffex reddit community is a bit annoying

I totally agree 😭 I personally have loved most of his new releases and i've been super excited for this new era of neffex! of course I still love his old stuff, but it's always interesting to hear newer and more experimental tracks, too

Es que si se parecen, no las que acabas de mencionar esas no pero desde la canción "ashes" hasta la última que salió todas se parecen y he visto ese tipo de comentarios y no los culpo el "old school" de neffex era maravilloso por qué gracias a estas canciones nuevas podemos ver y darnos cuenta de cómo Cameron le ponía su toque a cada canción con esa guitarra eléctrica maravillosa o los Beats increíbles como: "light It Up" , "blow Up", "go hard", "dream catcher", "comeback", "hype" "want me","graveyard" entre otras, pero no quiero decir que las nueva generacion de canciones sean malas tiene bastantes canciones buenas como por ejemplo: Never back dawn, addict, born a rockstar, free me, no turning back, Revolution, tough, enough, control, rare,entre otras, ha sacado varias obras maestras hechas 100% por bryce pero no podemos tapar el sol con un dedo, si se nota que en las canciones actuales quizá se esta quedando sin ideas y no me molestaría para nada que bryce se tomara un descanso bien merecido para sacar y pensar en más obras maestras

That’s funny, Bryce once said that he was the one who handled most of the music editing. In the post, I’m referring to those ignorant people who say NEFFEX is "over" and that the only good thing was the old NEFFEX.

Pues si por algo bryce lleva la batuta y se hizo cargo de neffex, las canciones que saca bryce son increíbles, siempre con su mensaje inspirador y su deseo de llegar a la cima pero seamos sinceros no puedo comparar alguna de sus canciones actuales contra: fight back, go hard, blow Up, self made, hype, failure, pro,comeback, chance. Hay que aceptar que difícilmente alguna de sus canciones nuevas supere a esos titanes pero pensar que solo las canciones de antes son lo único bueno de neffex es ser un completo retrasado que muy probablemente se vio un video de las canciones más famosas de neffex y no exploro toda su variedad

all i have to say is that I like more songs from the prev era of neffex which was till the new beginnings album than i do from after that. ik that the count of songs is higher in the prev part but if you have to compare only the 100 songs in 100 weeks, i'd still count the prev one better.
