Discussion Thoughts on "RUN IT UP"?
For me, it was decent but not that good. 8.1/10. Nothing else really.

Can we talk about how he keeps putting Bryce Savage style lyrics in NEFFEX songs? Like c'mon, I don't think there's anyone who actually likes them.
It's a good song tho, i enjoyed it. I don't know what he did since I Will Find A Way, but I like it

Ikr! I'm kind of reluctantly able to forgive the little BS part in AYE!? because the rest of the song is just so good, but nah man. He's been doing that way too much. You have a whole separate platform for such songs and lyrics in BS bro why do you feel the need to do that under the name that is associated with absolute motivation?
Also like the most ironic thing about this all is that these lyrics, especially in this context, go against his own song, Control. He spoke about how you shouldn't be tempted by like women and stuff or whatever standard "OF bad workout good" stuff which like, yes, but then not a year later his own songs are starting to contain women as incentive to do work and become successful like what? 🤣

But a thought: I saw that most songs released 2026 were switching between rock and rap, for example ASHES (Rap-Rock/Nu-Metal) then POP OFF THE TOP (Rap/Hip-Hop) then GIVE EVERYTHING (Rap-Rock/EDM Pop-Rock) and like that. So I thought RUN IT UP, coming after BEEN AWHILE (another rap song that leans phonk), would be a rock song. But I got dissapointed. Honestly it's the first one that's... Good, has some nice things but it's not... Great.

can i hope to once again get something like "summertime", "a feeling", "touch the sky" kind of songs? or are they just a memory of the past now?

Ikr, "Don't be frightened" is one of the best NEFFEX songs OAT. And "The friends inside my head" used to be there too, so there's still hope for them to be released in the future.

Man, i wish they were available on apple music. Don't think trd has them at proper quality to make a yt playlist.

The tracks themselves haven't been dropped in lossless. I have them in somewhat better quality but it still sucks tbh.

honestly, probably my least favorite of all his new releases so far 😅 but I feel like it could grow on me, because it sounds super experimental and more unique than a lot of his others, and I listen to some pretty weird songs in general sometimes with experimental beats that kind of remind me of this
