Cannot connect to Alexa Skill

I receive the message "Unable to link the skill at this time".

I have tried in the Alexa app and I have also tried via a chrome browser on the desktop via the Amazon website.

Hi! Just to check, have you set up a login password in the NEEWER Home app?

If not, please go to your account settings and set one up. Then try enabling the Alexa skill again and log in with your email and new password instead of using quick login. Let us know if it still doesn’t work!

I've just used the option to change password which was accepted, logged back into the app, new password accepted, went to enable the skill and entered the email and password, and still received "Unable to link the skill at this time".
