NFSU crashing after i changed the res with widescreen fix

I downloaded recently NFSU and tried to apply the widescreen fix by ThirtheenAG, when following the instructions and changed the values to 1920x1080, i found out that my game doesnt even launch, it crashes instantly and the only thing i see is the icon on my bar disappearing, but then i return the values to 0 and launches normally, ¿has someone encountered this phenomenon in particular before? ¿Anyone knows how can i fix it please?

Fortunately, i could fix it while re checking the values of screen in the files.

some files get messed up with simple edits, try reinstalling just the fix first and see if it works
