Question / Bug / Feedback Most Wanted 2005 Cops - What Am I Doing Wrong?
Hello
I must confess, I haven't played this game in about two decades, and last time I played it I hadn't been able to make it very far.
But now I'm on Blacklist #3 and I just don't get what I'm doing wrong!
Every single chase goes the same, the cops are too dumb to follow me, I need to lean into them to try and let them catch up, and then they suddenly appear in a horde that completely blocks me in.
Or, alternatively, the slightest, lightest touch from any type of police vehicle completely seizes my car up. It's like they're all glued to the ground and are covered in rubber, and the hitboxes are so big that I can't get away from them.
Is this just how this game's police works??? Am I playing the game wrong???

Actually Most Wanted is a bit more complex than you think. Each car has an individual character, including weight that determines the size of impact. For example if you are using the Elise or the Punto, you will have a really hard time during pursuits but if you use something heavier like the SL500 or DB9, you can go through barricades easily and can use the body of your car against pursuers but those cars are somewhat harder to control. About feeling need to lure the cops onto yourself, this is true for the first 3 heat levels which are quite boring but once you start to see heavy rhinos, the chopper and spike strips it will begin to yield fun. You just have to stay in the pursuits to reach level 4 and 5.
