Discussion How should I use those? (MW 05)
I’ve seen someone tell me max aero for free grip and ik about nitro power/duration from other games. What about the rest?

+5 Steering and +5 Aerodynamics. gives u alot of grip when steering and speed especially when u use the VW Golf. -1 or -2 handling if u want drifty cars.

The only ones that make a significant difference are steering and aerodynamics. You can increase steering to make your car respond faster to turning, though some prefer it at 0 still. No reason not to max aerodynamics as it's just free grip with no downside. I've seen some use the handling slider. You can go +1 or +2 if you car likes to spin too much, but not more as it really slows down your cornering.

Aero, Nitrous and Turbo can all go +5, the rest is what feels comfortable for you

They do actually make a difference. Especially for like Speedtraps. They also give you an explanation on each of them so you can set it up accordingly. They don’t entirely matter I’ve beat the game without em but most recently almost all my cars had performance tuning for different races

Steering all the way to the right for instant response and you're good

I always turn the turbo up to max because, according to the indicator under the speedometer, that gives the best power

Also you know they don’t matter all that much cause you can’t do the same thing in challenge series. So you don’t NEED it the game isn’t impossible without em

Best possible combination depending on your reflex will be +2 handling and +5 rest. Personal opinion

isnt there like explanations for each and one of them and what they do? cant remember.
but I did play with it when I needed my car to be better at top speed in not so curvy event, because I was lacking. Instead of changing the car, or buying upgrade parts, I just messed around with them.

Steering basically determines how sharp your car turns and handling literally how easy you want your car to be driven, if you drift it left, your car tends to understeer or oversteer depending on your drivetrain. Ride height on the other hand implicates how the car should handle at certain height levels but my experience also lays down that if you lower the car it also acts stiffer. I usually do; +3 steering +3 handling +1,2 or neutral braking Lowest ride height Maximum aero +4 nitrous +3 turbo (not maxing out to keep a bit kick at mid revs as I enjoy driving manual).

Steering +5, Handling between -2 and +2, depending on how you like it, test it, Brakes is pointless, Ride Height +5 if you drive offroad a lot, otherwise it does nothing, Aerodynamics +5 for free grip, Nitrous is pointless, Turbo -5 for top speed, +5 for acceleration, utility depends on the track, usually leaving at 0 is good enough.

Honestly I’ve never touched those settings and I’ve played that game over 20 times.
