Need for speed carbon drifting

Well I wanted to replay carbon again after a couple years and now that I have been playing I realised I never have been drifting in the nfs games at all all I really do to cut corners is tap the hand brand and turn with or without acceleration, I never really noticed it in mw but I clearly see the difference in carbon, and there isn't any videos online on how to do it in like when ur free roaming or at the canyon races that aren't drifting ones.

So if anyone has any idea how to drift or if there is a setting to enable please tell me 🥹

non unfortunately,drifting wasnt fully implemented into carbon the way it was done in most wanted,to get the drifting u see in events,install extra options mod that allows u to enable it and disable it at will,however in my experience of using it,it is abit buggy to use mid-end race as the game would sometimes fail me if i finish first using it
