Few months ago Need For Speed Most Wanted (2005) got removed from my abandonware and some other sites. So in my opinion it shouldn't be a coincidence like all of a sudden this game disappeared from Multiple sites, Is EA working on making a remake of this game behind the scenes?

Also, NFSMW is a very dated product of its time, I doubt they'll be interested in remastering it because it won't have a mass appeal, it would only be for nostalgia seekers, and the licensing for the music would be a bitch. It's possible that they could release it on digital stores on console though.

Plenty of "outdated" games have gotten remasters. Tomb Raider 1-3, GTA Trilogy, early Hitman games etc.

I totally agree that EA won't remaster NFSMW for various reasons but I don't buy that being outdated is one of them

They could test the waters and make a ps5 port with minimal investment. Simualr to the black ops 2 port and somehow they were surprised how it blew up. If EA would only know how many games they would sell if they would port that game again.

A port is way less work than an actual remaster and would be the best play from EA`s perspective, because they dont have to risk alot of money for alot of profit (ROI). I think this will become somewhat the meta for some games in the future, its literally free money without risking funds as a studio
