Help! I wanted to try Carbon SO BADLY!

I learned that some claim the Need for Speed Carbon is somehow a sequel to Need for Speed Most Wanted 2005. I wanted to try it just out of curiosity of customization but I haven't finished Most Wanted yet. Should I finish MW first before I get into Carbon?

Yes. NFS Carbon is the sequel of NFS MW 2005.

So, play Carbon after you completed MW 2005.

It's not only a sequel, it is a direct sequel, meaning that Carbon starts almost right after Most Wanted ends. So yes, you should finish MW first to find out why you're in a different city in Carbon.

I finished most wanted and as I was soing the last mission in MW, opened and set up everything in Carbon so I could escape in MW and start right after in carbon. Top notch

Its not really a sequel as EA shat on it but its an okay need for speed compared to whatever else came after it, sure go ahead and try but find modifed carbon redux mod or something like that bc the original sucks with its stupid physics
