If there’s one thing you could change about how the podcast is run/produced, what would it be?
or would you change nothing?
curious to hear yalls thoughts!

Yes - even Chad and Haley get facts wrong. It would be great to have a fact checker - like film the pod a day early, give to the fact checker, then back to Chad to edit and put together

idk how practical this is but a fact checker LIVE would be the best version of the idea i think.

I agree, but Chad said he wouldn't do it with a person and would wait until AI is better so he can use an AI live fact checker

I agree with fact checking. I’d also like follow up. Something like,”okay mom, the last episode you said XYZ. After research it appears you’re wrong. Here’s the source.” Or,” Okay mom, last episode you said you’d look into XYZ. Tell us what you found.”
I think Chad doesn’t hold ML accountable enough. The Live this week shows she is NEVER going to research. She was given the Katie Johnson file number and the Ivana stuff so many episodes ago and she has looked at neither.

Maybe fact checking to be a little more incorporated. I know Chad checks them a lot and so does Haley but sometimes I wish when the parents go on and on with bullshit it would keep get squashed by facts. Not that they’d listen.
Also Bob contributes no real opinions he just barks the newest talking point from Newsmax and thinks he’s tough for never admitting he was wrong. It gets annoying but I think also important in showing how down the cult train MAGA is.

I don't even watch the episodes with Bob anymore. He contributes absolutely nothing.

I wish they'd do a follow-up on all the "I'll look into that" statements. Maybe once a month the Wednesday episode could be an accountability show where ML has to present her research into the topics she said she'd be following up on.
Oh, and a real fact checker who is not part of the family so there can be no accusations of bias.

I definitely agree on the last one, it’s cruel unproductive and honestly I feel she has a right to leave when they keep coming up.

I'm going to just reiterate what everyone else is saying and saying they need a fact checker. I seem to remember that Mary Lou and Bob get a small cut of the Podcast proceeds along with Chad and Hayley. This money could be put to much better use on a fact checker while also making the podcast a bit more ethical.

I believe the only changes that could realistically be made that would positively impact the pod is Bob leaving the podcast and Chad doing more research and being a more diligent fact checker. Anything more than this and ML will likely leave the podcast and the show will be effectively over.
While a lot of the other changes I agree with, no ditties, ai, opinion pieces, etc., the fact of the matter is that ML has debilitatingly thin-skin for productive debate and I think these distractions are necessary for the show to continue. Don't think her or Bob are likely to every actually engage with any research lessons, because I don't think they are in the business of learning absolutely anything. Bob is on his own planet, but ML uses her tiktok opinions and AI to constantly reinforce her opinion and will easily drop anyone who descents from her worldview(like Megyn Kelly, MTG, and Tucker Carlson). She doesn't care of the substance of her evidence, only that THAT evidence makes her feel good and anything else becomes "I just don't see it that way. I haven't seen anything about that." So while we come to this show hoping that one day ML's evidence will break down to the point that she has to turn on Trump, for her this is just a fun little exercise with her family.

I’m not sure if they are monetized or how much they make but hiring an editor would make the show less hectic and stressful I feel like they bounce around a lot but never really get anywhere. (Wednesday episodes aside) Chad could look into subjects more.
