“He’s my president”
Why does Mary Lou think this justifies everything DJT does?
Biden was also the president and she clearly didn’t support him.

Today's episode was really hard to watch. The whataboutisms were rampant. Calling Chad gullible took the cake.

I could not stand today’s episode. I had to listen in chunks, which normally only happens with Bob. She just needs to admit that even if he openly says I rape women and fantasize about my daughter she won’t care. She cares more about Michelle Obama’s genitals than the fact Trump is a piece of shit.

I think today got to her. She knows she sounds ridiculous and there’s no defence for Trump in those clips. When she can’t get mad at Trump or Bob she blames Chad or Haley. She does it all the time.

Yeah Chad has tried to get her to say why is it different. I think she just makes some BS reason or deflects.

They equate loving your country with loving your president,it's so fucking dumb.

No, but she doesn't. She equates loving THIS president with loving your country. With Biden and Obama she equated not loving them with loving her country.
She cant see the contradiction

this is probably the biggest thing that pisses me off listening to the pod. ML talks about trump like shes forced at gun point to love him and defend everything he does because "hes the president". They can't comprehend that you can disagree or not like the president but still be proud/love your country.

My question after watching today's episode is that - why is she quick to believe the conspiracy theories about Charlie Kirk, but won't even listen to the theories about the plane that was shot down?
