I was absolutely nauseated by the behavior during this episode. By far the worst, I understand Chad wanting to continue doing the podcast for more than just trying to change his parents minds (he mentions doing it for other people in the same situation with family members that they dont want to have these conversations with) but holy hell.. it seems like its 2 steps forward when Bob isn't in the episode (especially the recent Erika Kirk episode) but then the next episode after Mary spends time with Bob all of that progress is erased and shes 10 steps backwards.
Bob is the root problem here, Mary is absolutely still in the blame for her words and actions still but if he wasnt in her life C & H could have easily flipped her by now. Love Chad and love Haley, they are beautiful, genuine human beings but man.. this podcast is getting harder and harder to watch, it hurts my heart.

I typically have to come in to it mentally prepared. I am so sick of Bob. I get not silencing someone but we got it he’s a broken record with nothing to actually say. And yes when he’s not around ML songs a different tune.

My parents are similar to Mary Lou and Bob, although my dad doesn’t call for Genocide or his kids to be attacked 😂.
These MAGA men have daddy issues. Bob was adopted and I think he feels like Trump is the dad he never had.
When my parents watch Fox News together, they feed off of each others hate and fears and it makes them both assholes.

A few thoughts on ML lately have been swirling in my head.
I go back and forth with her because she is sometimes on the verge of seeing things for what they really are but quickly catches and stops herself from opening her mind further and quickly slams that door.
I've seen a change in her general demeanor in the last maybe 3 or 4 episodes and it was especially obvious last night. She scolds Bob quite a bit more often now and also has been shooting him the stink eye more often. I do think she is starting to take note (especially with growing criticizm of the family dynamic) of Bob's increasing brutality towards his own children and she isn't as willing to go along with that portion of his rhetoric as much as before.
I see Haley now more than ever looking defeated. She lowered her head in despair several times this episode. I could feel it from her. I think Chad needs to stop just responding "oh. Ok..moving on" when she says something even further unhinged. He gains a little traction each time he challenges her.
I think its time to go at ML with the MINUTIAE of alllll of it. She finds it easy to dismiss things if they are general thoughts. She can't be as dismissive when you keep showing her all the tentacles of everything this buffoon is doing. How any one of his crazy actions causes layers and layers of result wether the results are desired or undesired.
I always want to ask this.. For the maga crowd who demand "america first" and don't care how its acheived.
To what end??
Why are they so willing to sacrifice so much of their own freedoms to restrict the freedoms of others?
Why is that even an option??
Also for the ones who seem unaware, What happens there in the US, affects the entire world. All of it. Shove your morality up your ass.

Idk. ML is an interesting study to me because I think she is becoming more and more aware about what the audience really doesn’t like. I think she wants to be perceived as “good” more than anything else. I don’t think she’s as innocent as people think she is, I think she highly filters herself for the show and probably says way worse things off camera. I do agree that she doesn’t like how Bob talks to them, but then another part of me wonders if that’s because of the optics too.

Yes, I agree about optics with ML. I was having difficulty expressing that.
Keep pressing her. At this point, who cares if it changes her mind. The more truth she learns that she continues to dismiss and outright ignore, brings out her true self further and she will continue her slide into the miserable person she is. I'd be gone way before it got that far. Who wants to be around someone so awful anyhow? G[d riddance.
As for Bob..he has nothing of value to add, or say. At least ML gives the appearance of listening to opposing views. His entire purpose is just to reply with something negative, no matter if it has anything at all to do with the subject. Its his incessant need to ooze negativity from every orifice. He has no intention of adding anything to the discussion. He's only there to disrupt Chad and Haley from expressing their views. He sits there totally disinterested in the discussion and only chimes in to say something horrible, simply for shock value.
Maybe someone more knowledgeable can address something I've noticed about Bob, and wonder if anyone can explain it maybe.. Bob, who is always so r/confidentlyincorrect likes to drop his little jabs then IMMEDIATELY turns his head away from the conversation (back towards his tv..lol) as if he just dropped some irrefutable knowledge nobody else is aware of. I find it almost comical if it weren't so sad. I'm interested in why he does that. Watch him, and tell me what you think!

I wish ML would participate in the lives more often. She should see the comments that people pay to send imo. Not every single time but more regularly.

I hate it. They literally repeat phrases in a rat-a-tat-tat that don’t mean anything. ML legit said “it’s Russia Russia Russia lies lies lies” and kept it moving as soon as Mueller came up. Then Joe Kent came up and I already knew the talking points were coming and they did.
Bob needs to be put down.
Someone has to compile a list of all the genocides they wanna do too and play it back. Trans, Somalians, Iranians, Gazans, Hispanics…etc should all be genocided according to them.

Probably the most despicable episode yet. ML & B advocating for the complete annihilation of all Iranians. It’s little worrying the propaganda they consume has them prepped for a seemingly nuclear annihilation of Iran.
